FABULOUS ATHLETIC BRA
I have tried many bras over the years. While riding my straps always fell down, or I had to keep pulling the back down, plus I still felt too much movement. We also help people start their horses individually.
We started another young horse with the owner participating in Nov. We do this on a very limited basis and only for those people who are willing to go through the process with us. There are some requirements of the person before we will accept a horse in our starting program. We are not interested in putting a lot of work into a horse if he is going home to someone who doesn't understand the concepts and principles we use. We expect the person to learn right along side their horse and use the same proven techniques and attitudes when they get home. This will help ensure their success.

NATURAL HORSEMANSHIP STUDY GROUPS FORMING IN NE
Many of Sherry's dedicated students have formed study groups to keep them motivated and accountable to continue the journey towards excellence in horsemanship.
There are groups now meeting regularly in the Lincoln, Omaha, and in central NE area (Broken Bow OR Burwell) If you want to start a group in your area call Sherry.
We do have access to indoor arenas to ride in, however, sometimes when the weather is bad we will meet at homes to watch shared DVD's to continue our learning.
If you are interested go to the newsletter page for study group guidelines and dates. Join our free yahoo chat group or newsletter list and you will receive notices about upcoming dates.
You may come the first time as a spectator if you are not a regular student of Sherry's. These groups are designed to inspire, motivate, and encourage one another. Plus we want to introduce newcomers to the benefits of natural horsemanship principles and get them as excited about learning as we are.
These study groups are NOT FREE PRIVATE LESSONS or a place to bring a problem horse for other people to fix. Sherry can help you with your problem horse through instruction either in priavte lesson, camps or clinics.

Way more than just riding lessons
AVAILABLE ON A DEMAND BASIS IN OMAHA, GRAND ISLAND & LINCOLN, NE!
We will come to your house when in the area but a fuel charge will be added to the lesson fee.
Some stables or arenas also charge an additional fee for lessons, it varies from place to place.

Private Lessons vs Camps or Clinics?
We understand private lessons are sometimes desired, so we do offer them to dedicated students willing to take them on a regular basis. However,I recommend a clinic or camp over the lessons at least once a year, because a 2 hour private lesson will go by so quickly.
There is no way you will get the solid foundation from one private lesson which you will get at a clinic or camp. I prefer to give private lessons after someone has already attended a couple of clinics. The value you get for your money with a clinic or camp is much greater than a 2 hour private lesson, unless you will commit to the lessons on a regular basis.
You will also learn from the other people at a clinic or camp which is invaluable. We will have a chance to cover so much more about principles and natural horsemanship philosophy. etc. etc. etc. There is no way I can cover all of this in a 2 hour lesson.

Spending hard earned dollars on riding lessons,a clinic or camp may sound like a self indulgent luxury.
But, without coaching on a regular basis, the best professional athletes admit their performances begin to deteriorate. At an amateur level, your investment in riding lessons will create personal joy and yield measurable progress in your goal to become the best rider and horseman you can be.

**2 hour lesson $80-$100 ($40-$50/hour)

The best deal are the camps.
**4 days for $125/day for 12 hours (only $10/hour)

Erica has come two years in a row. I have had a very successful time with her. Erica lived and breathed with me for a month. She received private lessons and attended all my clinics and camps as part of her internship. She brought a horse last year and also had access to work with 10 other horses as well. This year she brought 2 young horses for us to start.
I paid for all the fuel costs for the clinics and events she attended with me. This will save a bunch of fuel costs, you just need to get here and then the long term arrangement will work to your advantage instead of trying to find clinics and camps to attend.
**This is not a paid position, I do charge for room and board.

How you will benefit from studying with us
Dear Horse Lovers,
It doesn't really matter what discipline you choose or how much experience you have because our aim is to help both the horse and rider become even more successful by presenting an individualized program where we will build from where you are right now without sacrificing the spirit of either the horse or the human.
We did not invent any of the building blocks of the foundation which we teach, but have learned it from dedicated study with mentors, both horse & human, from books, tapes, careful observations and experience.
A strong foundation based upon focus of the mind, emotions, and the body is the key to success with horses. The reason most of us have issues and problems in our relationship and performance is we have either left out, or skipped some of the foundation based on the mind & emotion. In our enthusiasm to perform we went straight to the physical.
Remember foundation work is not only for young horses or beginning riders. Many horses and riders who experience difficulties, soundness issues, mediocre performance or fear issues will benefit by going back to the basics. It will expand existing knowledge, reconstruct existing holes, restore broken relationship and add a new perspective.
Using natural horsemanship foundation through feel we strive for a horse that is safe, dependable, flexible, supple, and mentally emotionally & physically agile. Preparation using a proper mental emotional & physical foundation will develop confidence in both the horse and handler, which allows them to become trustworthy partners.
Simply by methodically and consistently improving the basics your “skills & talents” will be accentuated and developed to their fullest potential. With repetition and creativity the basic “skills & talents” will become instinctive, leading to a beautiful harmony that becomes an art form.
Our goal is to help those who think they lack “skills & talent” or those who strive to reach their “skill & talent” potential by guiding them through various tasks and exercises which build mental focus, emotional control, physical relaxation, dramatic expression, physical strength, coordination, stamina, flexibility, balance, feel, rhythm, timing, quick reflexes, and problem solving strategies.
We hope you will give us the privilege of sharing the adventure of your horsemanship journey. Remember we will all experience tremendous highs on this journey, as well as valleys that seem to go on forever. We want to support and encourage you through the valleys, and celebrate the highs with you.
The destination doesn’t seem near as important as the journey, which is tremendously rewarding. Most of all you will end up having more fun with your horse than you ever though possible.
